Camp Survival

These are the prop designs I did for my compositions. I actually went back and re-did these recently. So they are more detailed and drawn better then the ones in the composition itself which had been drawn at the beginning of the semester.

This is a composition I did in class. We had to create a shelter for children who had been abandoned on an island. This is what I came up with. Never drawing one of my layouts on tracing paper again.

Dragon Flight

I have been working on an assignment "Mice Architecture from around the World" for about a week. We had to make thumbnails of mice and their environments of China/Japan, Paris, Hollywood, and Egypt. I was mostly interested in the Egypt and China/Japan ones. I decided on China. So my mice are going to be flying on a dragon kite. I also may go back and do an Indiana Jones-like mice composition in the summer.

These are my final mice designs and some prop designs for their accessories.

The dragon kite took me a long time to draw. I had a lot of perspective problems. But they were fun to draw once I figured out what I was doing. I combined these two designs for my final kite in my compositions.

These are some of thumbnails. I wish I could had thought of more interesting compositions for this assignment.

Dead Men Tell No Tales

New composition for Will's class. This assignment was a lot of fun. I got to draw a lot of skulls. It was my first time ever drawing a cave so it was very interesting.

Here is a bigger version of the composition:

Pirate Ship

This is my first prop design/layout design I did for Will's class. I have really enjoyed this class thus far. It is a lot of fun! It has made me really interested in pursuing visual development for entertainment.

The theme of this project is a pirate ship made by children.
