Turkey Trot 2011 T-Shirt

For the past few years I have entered the Oceanside Turkey Trot T-shirt design contest. This is this year's entry. I had to buy a new tablet to finish this! My sister's tablet died when I was 3/4's of the way done!

AM2 T-shirt Logo Contest

I haven't been drawing much yet this summer sadly! But when I heard about this contest and saw the cute design of the mascot, I decided to enter! In the rules you had to have the cat mascot, the Convention's name logo, and "Experience the difference." This is my entry for the AM2 T-Shirt contest. AM2 is an anime convention that is going to be held in Anaheim, California during the 4th of July weekend.

Object Drawings

I did these at the beginning of the semester, but never added them here. Just some wire frame practice

Flight on the Dragon Kite

Finally finished my mouse composition. I feel unsatisfied with it. Like it isn't interesting enough. Maybe it would look a lot better in color.

Here is a close-up of the drawing.

Dragon Flight

I have been working on an assignment "Mice Architecture from around the World" for about a week. We had to make thumbnails of mice and their environments of China/Japan, Paris, Hollywood, and Egypt. I was mostly interested in the Egypt and China/Japan ones. I decided on China. So my mice are going to be flying on a dragon kite. I also may go back and do an Indiana Jones-like mice composition in the summer.

These are my final mice designs and some prop designs for their accessories.

The dragon kite took me a long time to draw. I had a lot of perspective problems. But they were fun to draw once I figured out what I was doing. I combined these two designs for my final kite in my compositions.

These are some of thumbnails. I wish I could had thought of more interesting compositions for this assignment.

Mice Round 2 and Round 3

Been working on my mice architecture.

For a second attempt at drawing mice, I experimented with drawing some real mice and then some cartoon mice with skinny upper bodies and large lower bodies.

Then I decided to draw some more human-like mice. I liked the look of the girl mouse with the cat-eye glasses. However, I decided that the tall male mouse wasn't the look I wanted for my male lead. So I experimented with making the girl mouse shorter. I think she came out very cute!
