Peter Pan Book Jacket Design

For our final in Typography we had to redesign a book Jacket of a book, reformat the text, and hand make a hardbound book. I chose Peter Pan.

I used a drawing I found online that I really loved for the cover: http://www.freecartoons.us/2009/11/peter-pan-1953/

XMen Makeup Line

This is my final project in design 3. We had to "make something something it isn't." So I decided to make a comic that is typically for guys, a makeup line. I rebranded Xmen for girls. I chose 4 characters: Storm, Phoenix (Jean), Rogue, and Kitty to represent different types of makeup. I designed packaging, eye shadow palettes, lipstick, and nail polish for each character. It was pretty fun to do these. Illustrations are the amazing Steven Gordon's https://www.facebook.com/StevenEricGordon?fref=ts

F for Flower

My typography project. Had to be over 864 points tall. I made a pillow in the shape of a "F" and sewed flower buttons and butterflies on it.

LINE: Connecting You Across the Miles

This is the final product of my design project. I had to make a logical or emotional appeal to persuade someone to buy something. So I chose the LINE application for the smartphone. I use this app a lot to talk to my friends in Japan. So I chose the emotional approach and said LINE "connects friends or people who are in long distance relationships together." Plus its free and fun! I wanted this nostalgic feel to it all. So the people are textured and the inside pages are decorated with stamps and passport stamps, and old paper. I wanted the romantic feeling of sending letters and traveling to see one another. Before the take over of cellphones.

Part of my design project. Finished the spread's background. This will fold so that the Girl in Paris is the front page and the boy by the cherry trees is on the back

Ground Zero Performance Cafe Menu

The cafe on campus is famous for its milkshakes so I used that as a design element in my brochure/pamphlet for my design 3 class. The calendar/map page is an insert.

Resume

In my Senior Seminar class we are designing new resumes. I wanted mine to show that I am an illustrator so I drew a little drawing to insert in it.

This is my resume as of now. But text is obviously going to change.

Cherry Hill High Movie Posters

We were given a movie title and we had to create a story and logo designs for the movie. Then we had to create 3 posters for our movie.

My movie is about a girl who goes to a monster highschool. Maybe the last one is a little too horror movie-esque, but I liked the look.

My friend Elie,
was the model and also made the layout of my title design 100% better!
